Hendra Hartono is the Director of Advisory at Procon Indah. The company boasts an unrivalled depth and breadth of experience, which, it says, has established the company as the recognised market leader in Indonesia’s property consulting sector. The company prides itself in offering research-based knowledge and specialist local expertise that will lead to sound advice and workable solutions to any property purchase, lease or ongoing management. It is designed to support all groups — investors, landlords, developers, owners and occupiers. Their vision is clear: to be the market leader in everything they do, and to set best practice standards for the industry in service and ethics against which their competitors will be measured.

Hendra Hartono holds an MBA from the University of San Diego, and another degree in Architectural Engineering. He also studied International Marketing and Management at Oxford in the UK. He first joined Procon Indah in 1993 before leaving to take on the role of Sales Trade Manager with ICI Paints Indonesia, and then a stint with another company.

“Procon Indah was founded in 1980 and our first project was Ratu Plaza, the first mixed-use development project in Indonesia,” says Hartono.

“Procon became involved because they needed help with the financing, then the marketing concept and finally, the management. After it was up and running, it was all transferred back to the owner to operate himself,” he explains.

Procon Indah lists on its logo: “integrated property solutions.” It has four key service groups: Strategic Advisory, Occupier Services, Markets, Property Management Services — all forming integral parts of the property ownership and occupation cycle.
