A Swinging Good Time
The recent UK Land Investments Golf Tournament 2007, organised by The Peak, proved to be a great success as a hostof big names from the Malaysian corporate and social scenes turned up at The Saujana Golf & Country Club’s Bunga Raya Course to enjoy a full day of golf, coupled with lunch at the Ti Chen Restaurant and dinner at the Saujana Kuala Lumpur. Although no one managed to land a Hole-In-One, where a plot of land in Hertfordshire, England, sponsored by UK Land International, was up for grabs, there were still several lucky winners for the day, including Harry Ho, who took home the first prize of a fine Omega timepiece, while Brigadier-Generals (Rtd) Kammaruddin Mattan and Md Yusoff Said won prizes by Dunhill and Philips for second and third place, respectively. Other prizes won that evening included a stay at the Carcosa Seri Negara and hampers by Clinique. The night was enjoyed with much conviviality, fueled on, no doubt by the Davidoff cigars on offer and free-flowing Heineken.
