Stately Network
HE Kem Mongkol, Ambassador of Cambodia and Dean of Diplomatic
and Consular Corps; Shangri-La Hotel; and The
Peak co-hosted the recent Welcome to Singapore at the
State Room of Shangri-La Hotel Valley Wing. The evening
saw four new ambassadors as well as distinguished corporate
leaders recent to Singapore.
After cocktails on the veranda, guests proceeded with
a sumptuous dinner. Robert Conte, Chef de Cuisine of
BLU, and Franco Brodini, Executive Sous Chef of Shangri-La
Hotel Singapore specially created the evening’s
menu.During the course of the dinner, guests were introduced
to some of Singapore’s unique sights and sounds.
New friendships were established as the intimate and relaxed
dinner created excellent opportunities for
networking.
