Carbon fibre is nearly everywhere in the MC Sport Line being dangled before the eyes of Maserati maniacs in the city. The automaker will customise its cars to make them more racier than they already are, with glossy black 20-inch wheels and so much else.

Owners of Maserati GranTurismo cars could choose some sporty frills for the inside and the exterior from a catalogue and even the suspension could be modified in the GranTurismo S (the 433 horsepower two-door coupé, four-seater with 4.7 litre V8 engine) and the GranTurismo S Automatic (440 horsepower two-door coupé, four-seater with 4.7 litre V8 engine), to help drivers take the road like a race driver.

Alfred Dunhill has brought its Home retail concept to Hong Kong and the stylish abode is not only layered with luxury but also joined by a leading merchant of fine wines as well as a lounge to unwind with a drink after hours, or have a meal and talk business.

Before the business begins the discerning male could wander in to the first floor and be dressed up like the suave man he is. Here, the urbane male will be able to choose from a collection of off-the-rack casual apparel for his wardrobe and have a non-creasing suit tailored to specifications. Alfred Dunhill’s bespoke tailoring service provides a variety of fabrics and silhouettes from the master tailor. This is top-level personalisation from a name that is more than a century old.

Black is chic and black is beautiful. Having gone through a colour evolution, a luxury quad-band phone from Porsche Design has embraced black and incorporated wireless in addition to global positioning technology. And cap that with fingerprint access (as was in the previous model), though this phone is not quite alone on that count. Watchmaker Ulysse Nardin’s Chairman phone also comes with a fingerprint reader.

The P9522 (2.8-inch touch screen phone) is an upgraded version of the P9521, which was in white and was built out of a single piece of aluminium, just like the latest version.
