It was a night harking back to the glamour of a bygone era at Montblanc’s cocktail reception to preview its exclusive Collection Princesse Grace de Monaco.

The collection, consisting of fine jewellery, timepieces and writing instruments, reflect Princess Grace’s much admired style and sophistication. Feminine and timelessly elegant, the pieces from this collection are the most exquisite ever crafted in Montblanc’s Ateliers.

Despite suffering from mild fatigue due to illness, Rory McIlroy put on a plucky performance for a thrilling victory at the UBS Hong Kong Open.

The 22 year old Northern Irishman put on a remarkable display at Fan Ling, chipping in from a greenside bunker at the last to finish 12 under par. There were five birdies and no bogeys in the US Open Championship winner’s closing 65 as he held off a string of challengers.

“I’ve wanted to win this tournament so badly since that play-off in 2008,” said McIlroy, who has now finished second, second, sixth and first in the last four years at Fan Ling. “I’ve had to wait a couple of years to get there, but to get this trophy in my hands is very special.”

To mark the establishment of Jaguar Land Rover Hong Kong, Inchcape hosted a launch party for more than 1,000 guests at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to unveil the new Jaguar XF, Jaguar XKR-S and Range Rover Evoque. British Consul-General to Hong Kong and Macao, Andrew Seaton, was a guest of honour. A spectacular, high energy dance performance preceded the unveiling of the models.
