The quality eateries of Seminyak are better known for evening dining. But at these three restaurants, lunch is a highly attractive proposition, too.

SIP: SHOW MUST GO ON
Sip Wine Bar is the creation of Christian Vanneque, a renowned wine connoisseur, sommelier and writer, and although he promotes his business as a “wine bar with food”, the latter is on par with his excellent and eclectic selections of wines.

CAFE BALI: FOR UPWARD RISERS
As one of the newer “kids on the block”, Cafe Bali attracts many European high-flyers and “wannabe high-flyers” of Bali.

It offers a very wide selection of menu items including simple finger food, light salads, some excellent smoked salmon blinis served with capers and cream, sushi and dim sum.

There is a good choice of pasta dishes and soups. The menu is very international and in addition to the dishes already mentioned, there are Indonesian satay, mi goreng (fried noodles) and Indian curry.

THE JUNCTION: INTIMATE DINING
The food here is a good reflection of its ambience, as many items are designed to suit either a quick lunch or a more prolonged visit. The variety of sandwiches on offer is very imaginative. The Junction is also famous for its salads so make your choice from 12 inspired creations including Vietnamese chicken salad with orange, noodles and bean sprouts and Goi Cuon, containing chicken, prawns, mint, coriander and carrot wrapped in rice-paper.
