Canadian chef Susur Lee brings his signature flair to the Tung Lok Group’s newest fine-dining venture, Chinois by Susur Lee. Picking up where the Group’s former Club Chinois left off, this restaurant marks Lee’s first proper foray outside North America and features modern Chinese cuisine in an inviting urbane setting – all dark red and wood decor, accented by stone. A clear standout among the new menu items is the braised shredded abalone stuffed in crab claw, topped with sea urchin sauce. And the braised tiger prawns with chilli sauce served with cigar buns presents a fresh twist on the local favourite chilli crab. Chinois also offers a cosy bar area, perfect for savouring an aperitif over Chinese-style tapas or for lingering over dessert afterwards.
