High Spirits Event: The Martell Appreciation Dinner Location: Prive @ Keppel Bay A select few readers of The Peak had the opportunity to experience fine cognac at The Martell Appreciation Dinner, sponsored by Martell and held in the classy ambience of Prive. Guests were treated to fine cuisine specially prepared by Michelin starred chef Wayne Nish. The careful pairing of cognac with the many courses complemented and enhanced the flavours of his culinary creations. Invitees also had the privilege of Jacques Menier, Heritage Director of Martell introduce the different essences of cognacs that were served. Relaxed banter and laughter permeated the evening. The distinguished aficionados of fine spirits and cuisine enjoyed the experience of good company and great cognac.

Lunch Time Treats Event: Ladies Luncheon with Gaggenau Location: The Raffles Culinary Academy Gaggenau and The Peak organised a gastronomic event at The Raffles Culinary Academy at Raffles Hotel, Singapore, presented by chef Joe Soo. A group of elite women were invited to the demonstrations on three fusion courses. Under the charismatic guidance of chef Joe, the ladies also prepared their own lunches and received a certificate of participation at the end of the event.

Sunny Verghese clinched the overall title of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 Singapore. He will be representing Singapore at the annual Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year (WEOY) this year in Monte Carlo, Monaco as he vies for the prestigious WEOY title with other country winners.
