Musical Evening EVENT: CIC BANK 25TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY CONCERT GALA LOCATION: THE ESPLANADE Credit Industriel Commercial (CIC) bank hosted the world premier of Dreams by the CIC Chamber Orchestra under the direction of craig Leon. It assembled the finest of French performers: Young talented musicians, prize-winners of international competitions, regular guests of the greatest international institutions and soloists of the principal French orchestras. Renowned cellist Ophelie Gaillard played a Francesco Goffriller 1737 cello loaned to her by the CIC. Singapore was the venue of this one and only meeting: A rare moment of top flight musical sharing in a spirit of chamber music.

A Touch Of Italian Flair EVENT: AN ITALIAN AFFAIR WITH U-BOAT, ORGANISED BY THE PEAK AND MARQUIS LOCATION: MARQUIS FURNITURE GALLERY AT Q SQUARE A select few were invited to experience Italian finesse over wine and canapes at an exclusive event hosted by The Peak and Marquis. Guests were given a special familiarisation tour of the new Q Square. This latest venue to be opened by Marquis houses the best and finest in European contemporary furnishings — Cierre, Porada, Meridiani, Misura Emme and Emu. Adding an Italian touch to the evening was a surprise Mafia performance by U-Boat who showcased their sleek range of Italian crafted timepieces to the audience. Privileged guests were also treated to a preview of the latest U-Boat collection that has yet to be launched in Singapore. A roaming magician entertained invitees while a jazz performance added the perfect note to a truly enjoyable evening at the distinctively elegant showroom at Q Square.
